My dad used to work for Mrs. Baird's bread while he was in college and I remember him telling me that this is true. I had forgotten about it until now...
I've heard of this and bought a load of bread a couple weeks ago and the tag had a day printed on it that matched the color code I'd heard of for that day! If you think about stocking up on items like bread, flour, etc. then check out my 3 recent posts on Pantry Panic from a guest writer who had food bugs. I am making pantry cleanouts a PRIORITY now! That's so interesting! I had no idea. Now if we could just get them to start making those little tags to not break after the first usage.
